Change in Debian repository format
Now we use a structured APT repository instead of a flat one. This change enables us to provide modern versions of build tools for supported distributions, so you could build Librevault by yourself.
All Ubuntu users should execute the following command to overwrite the repository string with a new one:
echo deb https://releases.librevault.com/debian $(lsb_release -cs) main | sudo tee /etc/apt/sources.list.d/librevault.list
OPTIONAL: Ubuntu 16.04 users can also install CMake 3.6, Protobuf 3.0 and Crypto++5.6.3 using
dev component of this repository. This may be necessary, if you want to build Librevault by yourself.
echo deb https://releases.librevault.com/debian $(lsb_release -cs) main dev | sudo tee /etc/apt/sources.list.d/librevault.list sudo apt update sudo apt install cmake libprotobuf-dev libcrypto++-dev
Note for Debian users: I have tried to build it for Debian Jessie, but I have not succeded, because some libraries are too old on Jessie. I will provide a universal static deb package for Debian Jessie and Ubuntu 14.04 soon.
